Job summary

AV is offering a Summer Internship Program in the United States for a Quality Engineering Intern. The 12-week onsite role provides hands-on experience on meaningful projects, working with MS Office, Minitab, and SolidWorks tools.

Applicants must be enrolled in a technical/engineering degree with a 3.0 GPA and must be able to work 40 hours per week for 8–12 weeks. Relocation/housing stipends may be available based on location.

Qualifications

Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing a technical/engineering degree.
Minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship or permanent resident or asylee/refugee status per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8-12 weeks.
Relocation and housing reimbursement stipend may be available depending on location.

Responsibilities

Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues.
Use calipers and micrometers to measure products for dimensional analysis.
Participate in problem-solving sessions.
Receives detailed instructions on all work under close supervision.
Work with software tools in your area of expertise.
Participates in all aspects of the Quality inspections, investigations, and process audit program.
