Job summary

AV is excited to offer a paid Summer Internship Program designed to give students an immersive, hands-on experience within the aerospace and defense industry. The 12-week, onsite program enables interns to work on meaningful projects with AV teams while building professional relationships and strategic problem-solving skills in a full-time work environment.

Open to college students and recent graduates with a minimum 3.0 GPA; part-time (40 hours/week) for 8–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship or eligible status required.
• Currently enrolled in college/university in a technical or engineering major.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Available to work part-time (40 hours/week) for 8–12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Quality Engineers with investigations involving production and customer issues.
• Use measuring equipment such as Calipers and Micrometers for dimensional analysis.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions.
• Receive detailed instructions on all work under close supervision.
• Work with software tools in your area of expertise.
• Participate in all aspects of the Quality inspections, investigations, and process audit program.
• Receive detailed instructions on all work under close supervision.
• Other duties as assigned.
