Job summary

The Otis Quality Intern will support the Field Quality team at our Florence Factory in Florence, South Carolina, performing data analyses, assisting with field complaints, and contributing to quality projects.

This paid summer internship (10–12 weeks, May/June 2027) includes training, feedback, and the potential to transition to full-time after graduation, as part of Otis’ commitment to developing future engineering professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Data Analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage several projects.
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Work with associates and engineers to identify and eliminate quality defects.
• Provide data inputs and analyses for key performance indicators.
• Analyze bill of materials and support verification processes.
• Assist Field Quality team with customer complaints and rapid resolutions.
