Job summary

Otis Worldwide is seeking a Quality Assurance intern for a full-time, paid summer program in Florence, SC (or West Hartford, CT). The internship spans 10–12 weeks starting May/June 2027, with training and potential conversion to a full-time role after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage several simultaneous projects and responsibilities.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of quality and continuous improvement of the Otis Quality Management System (QMS).
• Assist in documenting and standardizing global quality processes, policies, and procedures across Operations and Supplier Quality.
• Conduct research, benchmarking, and data analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support quality program management activities, including project tracking, meeting coordination, and action item management.
• Assist in developing communication materials and change management plans to support global QMS initiatives.
• Help gather and analyze stakeholder feedback from business units to support process standardization efforts.
• Support the development and maintenance of quality performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Analyze quality and operational performance data and prepare reports and presentations for leadership reviews.
