Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on quality engineering experience in aerospace/defense or regulated manufacturing.
• Proven RCCA and problem-solving experience (8D, 5-Why).
• Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 internal audits.
• Familiarity with DoD quality expectations and FAR requirements.
• U.S. citizen able to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as active floor presence across manufacturing, planning, and engineering meetings to ensure compliance.
• Generate program inspection plans and train Quality Inspectors on critical characteristics.
• Track, disposition, trend, and report non-conformances across stages.
• Partner with subcontractors and suppliers to evaluate product conformance and conduct supplier QMS audits.
• Read and interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Review ECRs for quality criteria and act as Change Board member.
• Review and approve ERP router/traveler operations.
• Coordinate product inspections with government and customer representatives (DCMA).
• Maintain QMS processes and contribute to corrective action closure.
