Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Quality Engineer to collaborate across the organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work on diverse projects, drive product conformity, and lead corrective actions with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.

You should have a BS in Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing operations, be proficient with GD&T and measurement tools, and be comfortable managing multiple projects while upholding rigorous quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or 2 years of equivalent experience in manufacturing operations (quality control/inspection).
• Proficiency in GD&T and inspection tools.
• Able to manage multiple projects; organized.
• Experience with quality and statistical analysis tools (Minitab, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with diverse groups to ensure product conformity and lead root-cause investigations.
• Perform Process Audits to ensure conformity to requirements and procedures.
• Coordinate MRB and calibration programs.
• Create documentation for best practice mechanical inspection methods and QA processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends and drive corrective actions in inspection of products and materials.
