Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Quality Engineer for our Lawrence, MA site to maintain and improve product quality within a sustainable Quality Management environment.

You will perform root-cause analysis using 8D, Ishikawa and 5xWhy, lead technical investigations of electromechanical assemblies, and support Manufacturing and Service to resolve supplier and field issues. This on-site role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics, physics, an engineering discipline or similar.
• 2+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis to recommend continuous improvement using PS tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5xWhy).
• Lead and support technical investigations on electromechanical assemblies, identifying root causes.
• Support Manufacturing to solve quality issues, from suppliers and internally.
• Support Service to monitor field claims and to solve TOP field issues.
• Work with suppliers, Engineers and Stakeholders to solve main Quality issues.
• Perform internal quality audits and supplier quality audits with timely closure.
