Job summary

MKS Instruments in Wilmington, MA is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to partner with engineering, operations, sales and suppliers to uphold quality throughout processes and shipments.

You will conduct routine audits, support MRB dispositions, calibration systems, and daily production needs, reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager. The role requires a BS in engineering, 2+ years of experience, and QMS/Lean knowledge; travel up to 15% is possible.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of process audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine process audits.
• Support MRB disposition activities with Buyers, Operations and Supplier Quality.
• Support and maintain calibration systems.
• Assist daily production needs with Manufacturing (Tech Ops).
• Participate in Gemba Walks and maintain action items.
• Support quality initiatives and cross-functional improvement activities.
• Travel up to 15%.
