Job summary

Trane Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Quality Engineer to own process quality and drive APQP-compliant improvements across manufacturing. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, NPD and Supply Chain to plan, execute, and exceed customer expectations.

The role requires PFMEA and Control Plan experience, problem-solving skills, and leadership abilities. You will perform internal audits, update documentation, support Lean initiatives and ensure compliance with ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering or similar.
• 2-5 years of Quality related experience within Industrial Manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PFMEA, Control Plan and APQP.
• Certified APQP Specialist or Certified Quality Engineer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the process quality, improvement and control for the responsible area.
• Own quality at the source through adequate controls and measurements.
• Drive continuous improvement actions to prevent defects and escapes.
• Perform internal product and process audits.
• Create and maintain Control Plans and audit for improvements.
• Assist PFMEAs for product/process changes and updates.
