Trane Technologies in Hastings, NE is seeking a Quality Engineer to administer the Quality Management System and collaborate across Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and Supply Chain to meet customer expectations. The role involves root-cause analysis, deviation control, and leading ISO audits in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

You will contribute to continuous improvement through problem-solving, NPD/engineered projects, and cross-functional teamwork, ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred; will consider 2+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience investigating root causes and driving corrective actions for customer complaints and internal issues.
Experience using problem solving tools (9 Step, 8D, A3) preferred.
Ability to organize tasks and manage time to complete multiple assignments.
Ability to communicate at all levels within business and with suppliers, etc.

Responsibilities

Support operations when quality issues arise to maintain production.
Manage the rejection process for manufactured product and supplied components.
Partner with Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate root causes and drive CAPA for customer complaints and internal issues.
Administer the deviation process.
Lead ISO internal audits.
NPD/Engineered projects.
Determine and execute continuous improvement opportunities.
