Qualifications

• PFMEA experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design.
• Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships.
• Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset.
• Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus.
• Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines.
• Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; practical experience counts.
• Emphasis on computer programming or related experience: C, C++, SQL; API/GUI experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
• Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
• Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
• Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
• Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
• Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
• Partner with on-site EHS to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations.
• Lead hands-on factory project implementation, maintain support and upgrade as needed.
