Job summary

Trane Technologies in Pueblo, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer III to support 2nd shift operations (3pm-11pm, Mon-Fri). You will design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new product introductions and enhancements, focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, and cost.

Role requires 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, proficiency with AutoCAD or similar design tools, and experience with process automation and systems programming.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with process automation and design tools.
• Ability to program or work with systems programming.
• Aptitude for mechanical/electrical applications related to equipment.
• Strong communication to capture voice of the customer.
• Ability to coach and develop teammates.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop processes for factory transformation projects.
• Improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy use, and downtime.
• Provide SME guidance for manufacturing process and product design problems.
• Lead investigations, stat studies, and corrective action planning.
• Design flow lines, layouts, and controls to improve efficiency and cost.
• Create work instructions, standard work, and routings.
• Ensure equipment safety in collaboration with on-site EHS and OSHA.
