Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineer to join our Canoga Park team. This role provides program quality engineering support across the lifecycle, from design to supplier involvement and production, ensuring compliance with requirements and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities include resolving deviations, leading Six Sigma and Lean initiatives, and guiding corrective actions with suppliers to ensure timely, effective problem closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of quality experience, or 8+ years without a degree.
• Graduate degree adds value for the role and may reduce required experience.
• In lieu of a degree, extensive related quality experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements flow-down to hardware and specs.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Support design reviews to improve inspectability and producibility.
• Contribute to material review board activities and nonconforming hardware disposition.
