Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Welding Quality Process Engineering at our Canoga Park facility in California. The role emphasizes welding and related quality processes, coordinating with customers and internal teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement best practices.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in engineering with 4+ years of experience, or a Graduate degree with 2+ years. Proficiency in GD&T, PFMEA, MRB, CMM/SMI, and quality systems is required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years preferred.
• In lieu of degree, 8 years of related experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead review of failure investigations to identify root causes.
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and corrective actions with internal/external teams.
• Embed quality requirements into key manufacturing processes and plans.
• Develop and implement inspection plans using CMM/SMI and SPC techniques.
• Manage quality projects with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
