L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Manufacturing Engineer at the Canoga Park, CA facility. The role covers design and planning of layout, fabrication, assembly and material handling for rocket engine and power systems products.

You will apply Lean methods to improve processes and support manufacturing with robust documentation. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent), hands-on CAD/CAM tools, and ability to obtain US SECRET

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with related work history.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvements.
• Experience with CAD/PLM and ERP/MES systems.

Responsabilidades

• Managing projects using Lean methods, developing strategic manufacturing plans and risk assessments.
• Developing and implementing manufacturing and assembly process improvements and tooling requirements.
• Welding process development and support for complex configurations and materials.
• Change management using Creo CAD, Windchill, Oracle MRP/MES and MS Office to update MBOMs and work instructions.
• Tight tolerance machining support including GD&T and specification adherence.
• Perform risk assessments to protect personnel and equipment; travel may be required.
• Ability to obtain a US SECRET Clearance.
