L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Quality Engineer in San Diego, CA. The ALT 9/80 schedule offers a unique work cadence with every other Friday off.

The role focuses on quality systems, inspection methods, data presentation, and customer communication to ensure product reliability and compliance. Responsibilities include root‑cause investigations, support for process improvements, and coordination with suppliers and customers to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or graduate degree with relevant experience.
• Alternative: eight years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with aerospace/defense quality standards is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Analyze nonconformities across assembly, mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Investigate root causes and disposition corrective actions.
• Lead MRB and FRB activities.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers.
• Manage corrective actions and support program quality.
• Serve as main customer interface on quality issues.
• Develop methods for inspection, testing, and reliability improvements.
• Review ATPs/ATDRs and present data to customers.
