Job summary

The Pivot Group Network in Muskegon, MI seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives across the product lifecycle. You will develop inspection plans, analyze data, and drive improvements in collaboration with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.

You will apply lean and Six Sigma tools, conduct audits, and support supplier qualification activities to ensure robust quality. 3+ years in a manufacturing QA role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in SPC, root cause analysis, and other quality tools.
• Experience with CAPA and non-conformance management.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPAs for non-conformances.
• Monitor production processes and data to identify improvements.
• Perform internal and external audits for compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to meet quality requirements.
• Facilitate continuous improvement using lean and Six Sigma methods.
• Review and approve supplier qualifications and incoming material quality.
