Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Quality Engineer in Allegan, MI to lead quality initiatives and ensure product excellence within West Michigan manufacturers. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience, strong knowledge of FMEA, SPC, GD&T, and the ability to analyze data to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field.
• 3+ years in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in quality tools (FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Utilize SPC to monitor and improve product quality.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards.
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Participate in NPI activities, including FMEAs and control plans.
