Job summary

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering or a related field, 3+ years in manufacturing quality, knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949, SPC, FMEA, and lean six sigma, with ASQ certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys).
• Experience with metrology, inspection techniques, and quality assurance tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for quality improvement.
• Perform product inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives using lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including FMEAs, control plans, and work instructions.
