Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Cleveland Flowpath team. The position reports to the Quality Manager and supports the Quality System across plant processes and customer interfaces.

Responsibilities include implementing the quality strategy, driving continual improvement, and assisting with supplier and internal quality tasks in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering required.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards preferred.
• Experience with quality tools and problem solving in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Apply the quality strategy and vision for the organization.
• Improve the Quality System in accordance with IATF16949 and customer requirements.
• Support incoming product issues using 8D, 7 Step, 5 WHY methods.
• Collaborate with manufacturing processes and customer to resolve issues.
• Provide training and development to improve quality, productivity and safety.
