Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment will be required at the time of hire.
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in Mechanical, Materials Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3 years Quality and/or Engineering experience with strong dimensional and analytical skills.
• ASQ, CQA, and/or CQE preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive.
• Excellent PC skills, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve manufacturing & shipment issues relative to customer specifications.
• Support the administration of quality manuals, continuous improvement initiatives & interaction with business center personnel on quality initiatives.
• Root cause analysis & corrective/preventative action determined as appropriate.
• Communicate quality concerns, functional changes, and request customer approvals to stakeholders.
• Act as a liaison between shop floor and engineering; keep the pulse of the floor and ensure customer expectations are met.
