Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Howmet Wheel Systems (HWS) team in Cleveland, OH. You will apply the quality strategy, support APQP/PPAP, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure conformance to IATF16949 and customer requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in quality/manufacturing engineering, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience with quality tools. On-site role with opportunities to drive continuous improvement and supplier quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality, materials or manufacturing engineering required.
• 2+ years in quality leadership or supervisory role in manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of IATF16949, ISO9001 and AIAG tools is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality strategy and vision for the organization.
• Maintain and improve the Quality System per IATF16949 and customer requirements.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and launches of new wheel programs with OEMs.
• Provide training to improve product and process quality and safety.
