Job summary

Charter Manufacturing is seeking an Engineering Quality Internship in Shawano, WI, to gain hands-on experience in quality control, SPC, APQP, PPAP, and document management within a manufacturing setting.

You’ll work under mentorship, participate in cross-functional teams, and develop skills in quality tools, gauges, and ISO/IATF readiness, with a paid summer schedule and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or combination of education and experience.
• 1+ year experience in quality control, ASQ certification preferred.
• Experience leading problem-solving efforts.
• Familiarity with ISO/Quality Management System requirements.
• Ability to use various gauges and measurement tools.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate APQP processes and teams to ensure successful product launches.
• Assist cross-functional reviews to meet quality and productivity criteria.
• Review and verify quality documentation (PFDs, FMEAs, Control Plans).
• Develop standards for inspection, testing, and gauging processes.
• Support internal and supplier audits and training.
