The role involves supporting design changes, ECPs, RCAs, and stage-Gate/NPI processes, training staff, and contributing to safety and 6S standards. A relevant degree and 5+ years manufacturing experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field; 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• 5 years min. of engineering experience or related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the field.
• Work proactively with others through teamwork and cooperation.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently, use sound judgment, pay great attention to detail and provide excellent record keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality control/assurance activities for manufacturing processes and products.
• Support defining critical characteristics and develop in-process inspection methods.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align priorities and implement improvements.
• Participate in design and drawing reviews and ECPs to ensure timely changes.
• Assist with RCCA/CAPA, DMAICs, Kaizens for quality issues.
• Coordinate with Engineering on First Article Inspections for internal parts.
• Support release processes and Stage-Gate/NPI deliverables.
• Train personnel on corrective action processes and quality tools.
