NIDEC Defense Group seeks a Quality Assurance professional to perform failure analyses on motors and lead corrective actions in collaboration with our St. Louis plants. You will review quality issues with customers, drive improvements, and present data-driven findings to stakeholders.

The role requires 2+ years in motor manufacturing QA, familiarity with problem-solving tools, and willingness to travel both in the U.S. and abroad.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years in Quality Assurance in motor manufacturing or similar field.
• Familiar with quality problem-solving tools and statistics.
• Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
• Able to work with global cross-functional teams.
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform failure analyses of motors returned to St. Louis and drive corrective actions with Nidec plants.

• Work with Nidec St. Louis Engineers to support new product developments.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge on Quality Problem-Solving Tools and Statistics
• Familiar with product reliability testing
• Experience in motor assembly and manufacturing
• Willing to travel, U.S. domestic and international
• Able to work with global cross-functional teams
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, preferred

Skills

• Strong oral and written English language communication
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Data analytics using MS Excel or Minitab

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 2+ years in Quality Assurance gained from working in motor manufacturing or similar field
