G&W Electric seeks a Quality Engineer I to further develop and improve the quality program across production operations. You will handle MRB walks, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions using 8D, Six Sigma, or Red X methodologies.

You will also drive PPAP/APQP, control plans, NCR resolution, and supplier performance ratings while engaging cross‑functional teams to sustain ISO 9001 standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, PPAP, and APQP is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRB walks and consolidate issue data related to quality.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using 8D, Six Sigma, or Red X.
• Investigate first pass yield issues and implement preventive actions.
• Develop and implement cell standard work for manufactured products.
• Ensure containment and manage deviations/quality alerts while maintaining standards.
• Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on High Impact Projects.
• Report FPY metrics monthly and main issues weekly.
