Job summary

KBR is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide QA/engineering support across all phases of hardware development for the HHPC2 program. You will review documentation, support design reviews, and ensure compliance to quality standards and safety policies.

This role requires collaboration with engineering and QA/QE teams to sustain high product quality. Responsibilities include reviewing WADs, TPS, DRs, and procurement, while maintaining AS9100 documentation and supporting supplier inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering with at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience in NASA/government quality engineering is preferred.
• Proficiency in interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environmental plan.
• Review and approve WADs, TPS, DRs and shipping documents.
• Participate in design reviews and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
• Work with Engineering and QA/QE to maximize product quality.
• Develop and maintain documents in the AS9100 Quality Management System.
• Coordinate with DCMA and NASA GIDEP as needed.
• Provide periodic status reports to the HHPC2 Quality Assurance Manager.
• Resolve nonconformances and implement corrective actions.
