KBR is seeking Quality Engineers to support NASA programs. The role covers the entire project life cycle, emphasizing supplier surveillance and inspections to ensure compliance with developer procedures and contractual requirements.

Positions available as full-time or part-time in a space-focused environment around Colorado. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, 10+ years in Quality Engineering, and NASA or aerospace experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years Quality Engineering experience.
• Previous NASA or aerospace industry experience.
• GMIPS for Electronic Boards.
• Pre-cap inspection of hybrid microcircuits.
• 100% of solder joints prior to conformal coating.

Responsabilités

• Ensure that flight hardware anomalies, corrective actions, and re-verifications are documented in accordance with the contractors’ non-conformance and corrective action system.
• Participate in production planning, review manufacturing flow plans and participate in MRRs and TRRs.
• Examine process design and/or process qualification records and verify labs carry required certifications.
• Review flight hardware records and address open items prior to tests.
• Monitor contractor quality and safety controls during fabrication, integration, and tests.
• Support root cause corrective actions and data analysis of supplier performance.
• Review CDRL documents related to quality assurance and provide recommendations.
• Review flight hardware records for completeness prior to integration and final acceptance testing.
