Job summary

KBR is seeking Quality Engineers to support NASA programs. We are looking for both full time & part time. These Quality Engineers will support the development and implementation of mission assurance requirements over the entire project life cycle.

Responsibilities include analyzing flight hardware records, MRRs/TRRs, and ensuring compliance with contractor procedures and contractual requirements. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10+ years of experience, with NASA or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years quality engineering experience, aerospace preferred.
• NASA or aerospace industry experience.
• Familiarity with PCB quality, coatings, soldering, and harness QC.
• Knowledge of quality systems and non-conformance processes.

Responsibilities

• Document flight hardware non-conformances in the QA system.
• Participate in MRRs/TRRs and production planning.
• Review process design, qualification records, and lab certifications.
• Review flight hardware records and address open items before tests.
• Monitor contractor quality and safety controls during fabrication and tests.
• Support root-cause corrective actions and supplier data analysis.
• Review CDRL documents for quality assurance and provide recommendations.
• Perform final instrument buy-off and thorough inspections.
