Job summary

Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Quality Engineer to support QE initiatives and ensure customer satisfaction through complete vehicle quality. The role collaborates with multiple departments to drive KPI achievement and continuous quality improvements.

You will work on development of inspection plans, process improvements, and strategic quality initiatives across vehicle programs and supplier interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or 3+ years of equivalent Quality Engineering work experience.
• Experience in Quality Improvement, quality systems, process or equipment improvements, focus supplier, PPAP, process change management or non-conformance management.
• Experience with KPI-based management and/or Operation Plan (OP) milestone management.
• Ability to independently resolve complex quality problems across product and process.

Responsibilities

• Support activities to assure vehicle and supplied parts quality. Develop quality standards and inspection plans and confirm execution by manufacturing and suppliers.
• Monitor group KPIs, identify & resolve issues using FMDS and TBP methods.
• Support deployment of the Quality Hoshin within TMMK and countermeasure activity for quality problems.
• Manage change points with suppliers, manufacturing and design within area of responsibility.
