Job summary

RON SUNSHINE ASSOCIATES LLC in Bluffton, Ohio is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead hands-on quality functions in an upgraded plant. You will manage a Quality Technician and drive continuous improvement on the production floor, with day-shift, Monday-Friday schedule and minimal weekends.

You will own ISO 9001 certification activities, communicate with customers on quality issues, and help expand manufacturing processes as the company invests in its site.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years in a similar quality position.
• Experience with QMS such as ISO or IATF.
• Experience with RCA and corrective actions.
• MS Office experience, including basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ISO 9001 certification activities, including audits and documentation.
• Communicate quality issues with customers.
• Complete customer-specific quality paperwork and documentation.
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal/external quality communications and status updates.
• Perform internal audits and provide quality training to team.
• Document inspection results in the ERP system.
• Other duties as directed by management.
