Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Bluffton, Ohio is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead a Quality Technician and drive continuous improvement on a day shift (Mon–Fri) with rare weekends.

You will own ISO 9001 certification, communicate with customers on quality issues, and monitor KPIs while mentoring the team on problem-solving techniques. This role offers growth through recent capital investments and a chance to influence operations directly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position.
• Experience with QMS such as ISO or IATF.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the accredited ISO 9001 certification, including compliance, documentation, audits, etc.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues
• Complete customer-specific quality related paperwork and documentation
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics
• Lead and execute RCA and corrective actions
• Communicate quality status internally and with external customers
• Utilize formal problem solving techniques to identify issues
• Conduct internal audits and quality training for the team
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system
• Perform other duties as directed by management
