Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC seeks a Quality Engineer in Bluffton, OH to lead hands-on quality activities on a Monday-Friday day shift. You will mentor a Quality Technician and collaborate with the General Manager to meet production goals and customer requests in a plant recently upgraded with capital investments.

You will drive the ISO 9001 program, communicate with customers on quality issues, perform root cause analyses, and improve KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position in manufacturing.
• Experience with QMS (ISO or IATF).
• Experience with RCA and corrective actions.
• Microsoft Office experience including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own ISO 9001 certification activities: compliance, documentation, audits.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues.
• Complete customer quality paperwork and documentation.
• Establish, monitor, and improve quality KPIs and metrics.
• Lead RCA and corrective actions.
• Report quality status internally and to customers.
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system.
• Perform internal audits and quality training for team.
