Job summary

RRC Solutions Group in Bluffton, OH is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead a Quality Technician and drive improvements on the production floor. This day-shift role focuses on ownership of ISO 9001 compliance, customer communications on quality issues, and KPI-driven quality improvements.

You will work directly with the General Manager and management team, applying root cause analysis and formal problem solving to prevent issues and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position.
• Experience in manufacturing with a formal Quality Management System (QMS) such as ISO or IATF.
• Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
• Microsoft Office experience, including basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the accredited ISO 9001 certification, including compliance, documentation, audits, etc.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues
• Complete customer-specific quality paperwork and documentation
• Establish, monitor and improve quality KPIs and metrics
• Lead and execute RCA and corrective actions
• Communicate internally and with external customers on quality status
• Use formal problem solving techniques to identify quality issues
• Complete internal audits and quality training for team members
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system
• Other duties as directed by management
