Job summary

Markent Personnel, Inc. in Bluffton, OH seeks a Quality Engineer to lead a hands-on quality program in a modern, investment-backed plant. You will own ISO 9001 certification, drive root-cause problem solving, and oversee quality documentation on the production floor.

You will mentor a Quality Technician, monitor KPIs, and coordinate with customers on quality issues while working a Monday–Friday day shift with limited weekends. Medical, dental, vision, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years in a similar quality position.
• Experience with a formal QMS (ISO or IATF) in manufacturing.
• Experience with RCA and corrective actions.
• MS Office experience, including basic Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the ISO 9001 certification activities: compliance, documentation, audits.
• Communicate with customers on quality issues and status.
• Complete customer-specific quality paperwork and documentation.
• Establish and monitor quality KPIs and metrics.
• Lead and execute RCA and corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal audits and quality training for the team.
• Document inspection results and quality findings in the ERP system.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement with production and management.
