Job summary

Accounting Search is seeking a Quality Engineer in Bluffton, Ohio to lead hands-on quality functions in a modernized plant. The role involves direct leadership of a Quality Technician, driving continuous improvement, and owning ISO 9001 documentation and audits.

You will work on a day shift, collaborate closely with owners and management, and apply RCA techniques to reduce defects while supporting production goals in a stable, privately held environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality efforts in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with ISO or IATF Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality function on the production floor and drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor quality technicians; collaborate with operations to meet production goals.
• Maintain and improve ISO 9001 documentation, audits, and KPI reporting.
• Communicate quality status to customers and internal stakeholders.
