Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI is seeking a Product Quality Engineer (and/or Senior PQE) to define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high-quality AUV integration. You will drive our internal quality system to AS9100 standards, partner with design, production, and field ops, and own NCR, RCCA, MRB, and CTQ/CTF verification for a new naval-grade production line.

The role offers hands-on engagement with engineering, vendors, and manufacturing, with opportunities to influence process

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in complex assembly.
Knowledge of AS9100 or other regulated environments.
Experience driving quality in test and measurement development.
Experience partnering with Manufacturing and customer teams.
FMEA/APQP/PPAP elements including MSA and GD&T.
Experience with mechanical/electrical manufacturing processes.
Owns projects from start to finish.
Experience with PLM and MES systems.
Analytical skills for data quality and statistics.

Responsibilities

Support quality of integration process for components such as underwater sensors/equipment, PCBAs, cables, wiring harness, actuators, machined parts and structures; conduct audits and inspections for quality.
Define and execute build and inspection requirements to meet customer quality requirements.
Lead the NCR process for vehicle integration: identify defects and implement corrective actions.
Lead RCCA and MRB activities for aircraft programs; own containment for prototypes and production.
Develop incoming inspection control plans with design to verify CTQ/CTF dimensions.
Collaborate with production teams across sites to standardize processes.
