Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI is seeking a Manufacturing (vehicle integration) Technician to work hands-on with engineers on multi-disciplinary AUV assembly. You will build, test, and integrate electro-mechanical systems, routing high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses.

Responsibilities include designing fixtures, fabricating parts, documenting workflows, and helping organize on-site manufacturing. Travel offshore may be required as the operations scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a mechanical field (automotive/marine, aerospace, industrial equipment)
• Familiar with simple fabrication processes and both plastic/metal part manufacturing
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
• Experience working off technical documentation and engineering drawings
• Strong ownership and accountability for quality

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test complex electro-mechanical assemblies for autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs)
• Route and service high-reliability cabling and wiring harnesses
• Design, prototype, and scale jigs and fixtures to improve build efficiency
• Fabricate and modify machined parts and COTS components
• Contribute to all stages of vehicle product development and manufacturing life cycle
• Help document and improve manufacturing workflows and on-site processes
• Support on-site operations and occasional offshore travel as needed
