Job summary

Anduril Industries in Rhode Island seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer to define, develop and execute processes delivering high quality sub-sea components. You will collaborate with design teams and suppliers to meet quality requirements from concept through high-volume production.

You will drive supplier QA readiness, PPAP, audits, RCCA, SCAR, and ensure compliance with ITAR and other regulations while supporting domestic sourcing and rapid delivery for defense programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering in sub-sea electronics or wet cable manufacturing.
• Experience with electronic TLA/PCBA manufacturing, high voltage systems and power electronics.
• Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype to high-rate production.
• Experience flowing down Source Control to Suppliers and performing First Article Inspections (AS9102).
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610/620, MIL-STD-810, and quality clauses (SOW, IP, ITAR).
• Knowledge of PFMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA) and GD&T concepts.
• Analytical skills for data quality, metrics, RCCA and SCAR processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality development across product stages via design reviews and process development.
• Review supplier processes to meet electrical performance and sub-assembly requirements; manage QC processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and program management to ensure predictable supply.
• Lead supplier qualification activities (PPAP, audits) and containment/deviation management.
• Audit supplier Quality Management Systems to ensure flow-down compliance and documentation.
• Lead onsite supplier audits and reviews for contract deliverables and compliance.
• Partner to build a US-based network of material suppliers and contract manufacturers.
• Standardize processes with production teams across sites to improve day-to-day execution.
