Job summary

Anduril Industries in Quonset, RI is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own recertification, repair, and overhaul processes for Dive-LD Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). You will lead repair routing, test flows, and cross-functional collaboration to scale depot-level operations and align with new production.

You will partner with Design and Sustaining Engineering and mentor junior staff while applying Lean/Six Sigma to reduce cycle time and ensure compliance with security

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical field such as engineering, math, or a hard science.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or design of electromechanical hardware.
• Ability to deliver electromechanical hardware in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with manufacturing expertise.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end manufacturing process for recertification, repair, and refurbishment of returned AUVs and major subassemblies.
• Lead intake and disposition of field returns: triage, failure analysis, and MRB disposition.
• Develop and maintain repair routings, work instructions, tooling, and inspection criteria for the recert/repair line.
• Define and own the recertification test flow in partnership with Test Engineering and Quality.
• Close the feedback loop to Design and Sustaining Engineering with field failure data and CCAs.
