Job summary

Anduril Industries is hiring a Product Quality Engineer (and/or Senior PQE) in Quonset, RI to define, develop, and execute quality processes for AUV integration. You will drive AS9100 compliance and scale the new production line, partnering across product development, production, and field operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field.
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in complex assembly and production processes.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 or other regulated environments.
• Experience driving quality requirements to test and measurement systems.
• Experience partnering with Manufacturing and customer-facing teams to meet requirements.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA, GD&T).
• Experience with mechanical/electrical manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to drive projects to completion.
• Experience with PLM and MES systems.
• Data mining, metrics, and statistical analysis tools experience; eligible for U.S. Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality integration for components like sensors, PCBAs, cables, and structures.
• Define and implement product build and inspection requirements per customer needs.
• Lead NCR process for vehicle integration and implement corrective actions.
• Lead RCCA and MRB activities for aircraft programs and prototype/production containment.
• Develop incoming inspection plans with engineering for CTF/CTQ dimensions.
• Collaborate with other sites to standardize processes and techniques.
