Job summary

Better Impact Inc. is seeking a senior quality engineering leader to design a cross‑stack quality strategy and build automation across .NET, PHP, and Node/TypeScript.

You will own the end‑to‑end test coverage and integrate it into delivery pipelines, using AI-driven tooling to scale without headcount for every surface. You will define quality gates, ensure environment parity, and drive modernization efforts while protecting customer-facing behavior.

Qualifications

• Deep experience in software quality with real depth in test automation.
• Built or rebuilt a quality function across multiple stacks or products.
• Fluent in modern automation across .NET, PHP, and Node/TypeScript.
• Treat AI and agentic tooling as a force multiplier for cross-stack quality.
• Protected a product through major migrations or re-platforms.
• Understands multi-region SaaS uptime and SLA obligations.

Responsibilities

• Design a quality strategy that works across .NET, PHP, and Node/TypeScript.
• Build the automation layer and end‑to‑end coverage integrated into delivery pipelines.
• Define and own quality gates and ensure tests cover production parity.
• Support modernization efforts without breaking customer-facing behavior.
• Embed quality into development teams' delivery cycles with engineering leadership.
