Job summary

Jobot in Winsted, CT is seeking a Permanent Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives in precision airfoil manufacturing. You will drive AS9100-aligned processes and perform first article inspections to ensure conforming parts.

You will collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to implement robust QA testing, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions while mentoring staff on quality procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with AS9100 standards.
• Proven experience in airfoil manufacturing and first article inspections.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing engineering processes.
• Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in using quality assurance software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead cross-functional teams.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus.
