Jobot seeks a Quality Engineer for our Melville, NY manufacturing site. The role focuses on quality assurance, process improvements, and compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9145 standards.

You will drive root-cause analysis, audits, and supplier quality to ensure products meet customer expectations. We value experience in a fast-paced aerospace or manufacturing environment, strong teamwork, and excellent problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within the manufacturing industry.
• Experience maintaining quality systems and audits.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the consistent quality of our products.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address quality issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to implement process improvements and reduce defects.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9145 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, providing data-driven insights to management.
• Train and mentor team members on quality assurance procedures and standards.
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on potential quality issues.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials.
• Lead problem-solving efforts relating to quality issues.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in a high-paced, challenging environment where quality is of paramount importance. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of quality assurance and control, ensuring our products meet and exceed customer expectations. You will play a key role in our organization, driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. This role requires 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

Qualifications

2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the manufacturing industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles.
4. Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis.
5. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9145 standards.
6. Strong knowledge of Process Engineering.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
10. Proficient in using quality inspection tools and software.
11. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) credential is a plus.
