Job summary

Rogers-O’Brien Construction is seeking a Quality Manager, a role equivalent in scope to a Senior Project Engineer, with a specialized focus on quality assurance. The candidate will ensure construction conforms to plans, approve submittals with architects/engineers, and track materials on the project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of combined field and office experience with a reputable general contractor.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in managing submittals, RFIs, and quality inspections.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assure that all construction work conforms to approved plans and specifications.
• Ensure submittals are reviewed and approved by the architect/engineer.
• Track procurement and delivery of materials to ensure timely availability on-site.
• Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
• Monitor the procurement and manufacturing processes to meet project timelines.
• Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process efficiently.
• Inspect received materials to ensure quantity, quality, and compliance with contract documents and drawings.
• Develop, manage, and update submittal logs throughout the project
