Job summary

Rogers-O’Brien Construction is seeking a Quality Manager, a role equivalent in scope to a Senior Project Engineer, with a specialized focus on quality assurance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of combined field and office experience with a reputable general contractor.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in managing submittals, RFIs, and quality inspections.
• Familiarity with construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assure that all construction work conforms to approved plans and specifications.
• Ensure submittals are reviewed and approved by the architect/engineer.
• Track procurement and delivery of materials to ensure timely availability on-site.
• Maintain a complete and up-to-date record of submittals, approvals, and related documentation.
• Monitor the procurement and manufacturing processes to meet project timelines.
• Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process efficiently.
• Inspect received materials to ensure quantity, quality, and compliance with contract documents and drawings.
• Develop, manage, and update submittal logs throughout the project

Quality Managers are responsible for ensuring that construction conforms to plans and specifications. They are also responsible for ensuring that submittals have been approved by the architect/engineer and for tracking the procurement of materials for the project.
