Job summary

RIX Industries is seeking a Quality Document Specialist to collect, review, and organize quality documentation into complete packages in accordance with contract, customer, and government requirements. You will gather records, verify accuracy, and ensure proper revision statuses and approvals for compressor projects.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of progressively responsible experience in quality documentation or related administrative work.
• Experience collecting, organizing, reviewing, and validating large volumes of technical documentation.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and errors.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to resolve documentation issues.
• U.S. Citizenship or qualified U.S. Person; may require DOD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Gather quality, manufacturing, inspection, test, material, vendor, and other records.
• Review documents for completeness, legibility, approvals, and correct revision status.
• Identify missing or incorrect documentation and coordinate corrections.
• Organize documentation in required sequence, format, and indexing.
• Assemble final quality document packages and data books.
• Upload or deliver completed documentation per contract and customer instructions.
• Maintain document status trackers and filing systems for traceability.
• Protect document integrity by removing obsolete or duplicate records.
• Communicate gaps and potential schedule impacts to QC team.
• Provide general clerical support to Quality Control.
• Perform PMI gun verification of compressor components when trained.
