Job summary

NorthEast Residential Services in Gray, ME is seeking a Quality & Documentation Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced DSP or human services professional who is detail-oriented and eager to move into quality and compliance within residential services.

You will review daily ISP notes and service documentation for accuracy, ensure alignment with service plans and hours, and collaborate with managers and DSPs to address gaps.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Direct Support Professional or in a similar human services role.
• Experience reviewing ISP and daily service documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable working across multiple software systems.

Responsibilities

• Review ISP notes and service documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure documentation aligns with individual service plans and hours.
• Compare documentation with staffing schedules for consistency.
• Identify missing or inconsistent documentation and follow up.
• Support audits, licensing reviews, and regulatory readiness.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and DSPs to resolve issues.
• Maintain clear and professional communication regarding documentation.
• Assist with internal documentation and quality improvement efforts.
