Hunter Engineering Company in Raymond, MS, is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the quality management system across the organization. You will set quality goals, oversee QA processes, and drive continuous improvement to ensure regulatory compliance and product excellence.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), 7+ years in quality leadership in manufacturing or regulated industries, and strong skills in leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing or regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (ISO, Lean, Six Sigma).
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Certifications such as CQM or CQE are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement quality policies, standards, and systems aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Lead cross functional teams to integrate quality procedures and projects into operations, ensuring alignment with manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and other operational groups.
• Make step changes in quality systems, practices, technology and improvements.
• Lead improvement efforts from a data driven model to impact internal and external customers.
• Directly and indirectly lead quality professionals and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Analyze data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for enhancement.
• Develop and drive plant quality KPIs, monitor performance, and report results and initiatives to senior leadership.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action processes to address and triage quality issues on an urgent basis.
