Job summary

Clarios, LLC is seeking a Quality Data & Systems Engineer to transform quality data into actionable insights across a global manufacturing network. You will lead the quality software stack, drive data-driven decision making, and support calibration and testing processes to ensure product quality and process excellence.

In this role, you will collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT teams to implement standardized practices and maintain IATF 16949 compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Manufacturing Engineering, or related manufacturing roles (automotive preferred).
• Strong experience with data analysis, quality reporting systems, databases, and advanced Microsoft Excel functionalities.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949, SPC, quality systems, and automotive customer requirements.
• Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience developing reports, metrics, and dashboards for business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Quality, Engineering, Operations, and IT teams.
• Knowledge of process control techniques and quality methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead business support for quality software systems and databases (Proficy, GageTalker) and reporting platforms across Clarios plants.
• Develop and maintain key quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to improve process capability and reduce defects.
• Ensure data integrity and reliability of quality databases; collaborate with IT and plant teams on implementations and improvements.
• Analyze process and product data using statistical methods to identify trends and improve performance.
• Support deployment of quality best practices and standardized procedures across the organization while maintaining IATF 16949 compliance.
• Provide technical support for calibration systems, laboratory equipment, and electrical testing processes.
